the room was, clean, but really, who cares when there’s hardly any parking? absolutely unacceptable! i would have expected at least a complimentary drink for this kind of inconvenience. and don’t even get me started on the wi-fi—why is it so limited? a shame, really, because i almost thought of giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

The breakfast was made with local produce and included a delicious full English option, ensuring a great start to the day.
The only downside was the limited on-site parking, which made it necessary to use nearby options at times.

Immaculate cleanliness throughout, including the room and fluffy white towels. Delicious full English breakfast with a vegetarian option plus plenty of daily coffee and tea supplies.
The steep uphill walk back from the town can be a challenge, especially for those with knee issues. Limited on-site parking can be a hassle, possibly requiring use of a nearby car park. Some rooms, despite being comfortable, may feel a bit cramped with limited space for luggage.

We enjoyed a delightful visit to the nearby fishing spots, which were perfect for our adventurous family. The room was well-appointed with a comfortable double and a couple of singles, making it ideal for us and our two teenage kids.
My kids wished there were more activities for teenagers.
